New Horizons

Hello, sorry I have not posted in while. I have been a little preoccupied this week. A couple of things have changed in my life. One, my wife of nine years has just given birth to our first child, a girl. We will call her “AJ” for the sake of the blog-o-sphere. I am already shopping little motorcycles. Second, it turns out that a few people are actually reading this thing. Maybe a somewhat impressive feat. Considering that I am typing this on a second hand laptop with a keyboard problem equivalent to a typewriter with 5 missing keys. I mean a floating 5 missing keys.

Anyway, A few people are reading this. With that known I am changing the mission a little. I will be less technical. As it turns out no one but a few motor-heads care about chain tension, shock preload and cross bar mods. I will not quit writing about riding adventures or trip planning. Heck, everyone likes an adventure right? I may even win a few people into riding. I will be more user friendly to the typical user. I can get and share tech info on the Strom Forum if I need that kind of fix. So, welcome and enjoy the space. Comments and feedback can be e-mailed to mn_northstar@hotmail.com. Any comments appropriate to the “mission” will happily be posted.

Sweeeter!!!!

Just days after my post I met the Kinkster himself. He was on the Campus for a political stop and he made himself available to his many fans. I had a front row seat to the show and was able to meet him shortly after the event. I got a great photo op and he signed a book for me. He was a hell of a nice guy.
