On the Trans-Texas Corridor

Want some more of your land stolen, women stampeded, cattle raped (Thanks Chevy) ... Support the TTC! I guess this is a Motorcycling issue, if you do not want to see more countryside turned into Interstate and have 1000's more 18 wheelers in your area every day. Below is a letter written to most of my elected officials this week (Cornyn, Hutchison, Burgess and Estes).

For those who do not know the TTC, or trans-texas corridor, is the NAFTA super highway (Big Ass toll road) running from Mexico to Canada and over most large cities on the current I-35 route. Buh-bye Austin, San Antonio, DFW, Denton and of course Sanger. It will require the eminent domain (read land snatch) of over 4000 sqare miles of private land in texas if TXDOT gets all segments. Most will be built and managed (read owned) by a Spanish firm, that get this, opend a shell copmany DBA as Bluebonnet enterprises or some such name. Bluebonnet? Must be from Texas right? Nope. You can get more info here: http://www.corridorwatch.org/

Dear Senator XXXXX,
I am a writing to voice my opposition it the TTC! I am shocked that though there is tremendous public opposition to this project, TXDOT continues to ram this down the throats of your constituents. In Denton County alone TXDOT says it will aggressively use eminent domain to steal over 4000 acres of private land from your constituents! Do you defend the theft of private land? Are your actions or inactions facilitating this theft? Your constituents appear to overwhelmingly oppose this project, how will you help them defend their property from the State of Texas and TXDOT? If this is project is such a great idea why cannot the public vote on this subject?

This project will leave a 1100 foot wide scar on the face of this state from the Rio Grande to the Red River! The only benefits will be to route cheap goods into the country to benefit large multinational corporations. I deeply oppose this project and will vehemently oppose any of my elected officials that support construction of the TTC.

Regards
